Do you want to build a solid business but don't have the budget for consultancy or even coaching? But what you do have is a passion to grow your business and a can-do approach?

This book is the exact process I take my consultancy and coaching clients through. I've written it as if I were talking to you in one long coaching session (or multiple sessions if you were to split it up into chunks).

I've kept the language as simple as possible and explained marketing jargon where I've needed to use it. It's perfect to pick-up and read if you have no background in marketing at all.

At it's heart, marketing is really simple - it's common sense but it can be overwhelming. Hopefully this book makes it easier for you. It's 176 pages of genuinely useful advice you can begin to implement the moment you finish it.

We start with building strong business foundations - identifying who you are and what you stand for, then how this is developed and communicated to your customers. This succinct brand summary is how your target audience start to recognise you, it's the thing that sets you apart from competitors and encourages people to take notice.

Then we need to write a detailed target audience. Only by understanding the problems your target audience have, and how you can help them solve those problems - are you going to be able to effectively market your business.

I'm not talking about only targeting women called Debbie born 1970-1973 in Surrey - but we build a detailed picture of different groups of people who your product would appeal to - and write key sales messaging for each 'segment' of your target audience. This is particularly handy if you have a product that is helpful for many groups of people - for example, a 56-year-old father-of-four is going to resonate with different sales messages to a 32-year-old woman with no children.

I'll teach you how to build this detailed picture and the data sources I would comb through if I were to do it for you.

Finally, I teach you how to combine your strong business foundations and your customer profiling into a robust and comprehensive marketing plan.

A solid marketing plan doesn't only rely on one channel - and if you were go to a 'social media freelancer' who only created content for Instagram I'd be asking for my money back (no axe to grind here, ha!) but a one channel only approach very rarely helps you shift the dial when it comes to sales. A solid marketing plan uses as many channels as possible that your target audience already use, and you repurpose and cross post sales messages between these.

And the best part? These strategies have been used by world-leading marketers and are now accessible to you.

Whether you're starting a new business or looking to grow an existing one, the practical insights and actionable advice in this book will set you on the path to success. Don't wait any longer, get your copy today and start seeing real results.
